A Prayer for Breaking Generational Curses
Yahushua, I confess and proclaim that you are my Savior and the Lord over my life. I proclaim that the stripes you bore on the Cross at Calvary have established You as “My Redeemer.” You are My Master, My Shepherd, My Healer and My Deliverer. I proclaim that you, Jehovah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth are My God and My spiritual Father, in whom I trust to set me free fromthe “iniquities of my fathers,” from “past un-Godly vows that may have been spoken over my family” and from the “generational curses caused by these iniquities” which have been handed down through my family line. In Yahushua’s holy name, I declare that I am not in agreement with any form of sin or disobedience that operates in this world or against the throne of God. I am not in agreement with any person or family member who deliberately sins, or who perverts God’s holy and righteous ways. I praise You Father and I seek to live by Your Spirit and reap the rewards of living a righteous and holy life according to Your will.
Father, I repent for every family member who has deliberately, or without spiritual wisdom, sinned against You. I realize that all sin will be judged one day, and that each of us is accountable for what we have said and done. I repent for my family’s sins and ask that I be released from any curse that these sins may have caused. I ask forgiveness for every person in my family who knowingly or unknowingly has opened doors through sinful living, thus giving satan greater influence over their lives and the lives of their children. I intercede with the blood of Yahushua for those family members who have a good heart, but who have sinned because they have been blinded by ignorance. Have mercy on them Father, and please forgive them for their transgressions. I also renounce the behavior of any family member who has lived more for the world, than for God. I renounce any ungodly beliefs, traditions, rituals or customs my family may have followed. I repent for those who have sought to fulfll their own selfsh desires, and for those who have perverted God’s righteousness, for I choose to serve God and live by His ways. In Yahushua’s holy name, I ask your help Father to sever and redeem us from any and every oppressing sinful infuence that has found its way into our family because of a sin that we have committed. I repent and ask you Father in Yahushua’s holy name for forgiveness for both myself and my family. I also ask Father that the “sin of the fathers” as stated in Exodus 20 4-6 be nullifed in Yahushua’s holy name.
By authority in Yahushua , I command every violation of “family iniquity” in my family going back all the way to Adam and Eve to be uprooted, and I command it’s work of oppression and curses to bebroken and removed from me, my children, and all of my relatives this moment. I declare these curses null and void in Yahushua’s holy name, and by the blood of Yahushua, I take charge over these sins, curses, and spirits responsible for enforcing these curses, and I command them to be cast out to dry and desert places. I also break in the name of Yahushua every unGodly “vow or oath” spoken over or against my family, whether by a family member, friend or a stranger. All of these are covered by the blood of Yahushua and declared null and void in Yahushua’s holy and precious name.
I am a child of the King of kings and my life has been bought and paid for by the blood of Yahushua. I, therefore, command every generational curse and their manifestations– sicknesses, dysfunctional lifestyles, character faws, fnancial distress, spiritual oppression, or however a curse has manifested itself against my family to be removed now in Yahushua’s holy and precious name. I intercede with the blood of Yahushua, and I command the roots of these curses to be uprooted and destroyed in the same way that Yahushua spoke the words against the fg tree.
Matthew 21:19-20 King James Version (KJV)
19 And when he saw a fg tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fg tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fg tree withered away!
Let all of these curses die now and I claim all power and authority given to me as it is stated in
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and
nothing shall by any means hurt you.
I thank you Father for setting us free from bondage and oppression and I give you all praise, honor and glory.
Amen, Amen, and Amen.
Exodus 20:1-6 (KJV)
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

How will our children know about the goodness of God if we surround them with dark spirits?
If we sow bad seed, then we are feeding our children bad fruit.
If we live in sin and compromise, then we teach our children to live this way.
If we bring curses upon ourselves, then we bring those same curses upon our children.
If we bring cursed things into our home, then we are surrounding our children with cursed things and the spirits that are attached to them.
Deuteronomy 7:26 (KJV)
26 Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
Galatians 6:7-8 (KJV)
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his fesh shall of the fesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
John 20:21-23 (KJV)
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
James 5:14-16 (KJV)
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The efectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
